Desserts Desserts Desserts

Writer’s block.

The worst.

I was so excited about this post because I’m writing about recipes that aren’t mine, but now the words are just not coming to me!

Being a food blogger can sometimes be frustrating because you want to stick to a schedule of posting, but sometimes new ideas don’t come to mind or great ideas fail, so I have found that redemption can come from copying others.

I follow many large bloggers (maybe one day I’ll be one of them..), and in the past month I have been going to town on making their desserts.

Here are three desserts that I’ve made that I highly recommend!

1. PaleOMG.

OMG is right. These cookies are the BOMB.

Juli makes paleo recipes that always look amazing and this one is from her cookbook that is about to be released! PS who wants to send me lots of money so I can splurge on all of the cookbooks that I would like to own? K, thanks.

2. Ambitious Kitchen.

This is a new blogger that I have started following and her food always looks amazing. These bars are so insane. Who knew that you could make chickpeas taste like this?! I’ve got some thinking to do…

3. Against All Grain.

Danielle is another inspiration! I haven’t been as good following her blog, but her photography skills are amazing and I always want to taste whatever she posts about. Last week I was wanting to make a grain-free tart since my digestive system has been acting up again and this tart seriously delivered. I clearly mixed up the fruit that I used, but hers is way prettier than mine! Go check it out!

So, three amazing women killing it in the blogging world.

I hope to one day be included in the mix, but I realize that I have a lot of work to do to get there.

For now, this is just for fun. Maybe one day it’ll be more than that.

Today I shall just leave you with this: Dessert is king.
