Baked Brussel Sprouts and Shallots

These were great!

You will need:

  • 1 bag brussel sprouts (2-3 cups) trimmed and left whole
  • 3 shallots, sliced thick
  • 1 large clove of garlic, pressed
  • sea salt
  • 2 T extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar

Preheat oven to 375.
Cut a shallow cross in the base of each brussel sprout, then layer in a baking dish with the shallots.
Sprinkle with sea salt and garlic, then pour the olive oil and vinegar over top, mixing well.
Bake for 45-50 minutes covered with foil, then bake for another 7 or so until the sprouts are brown.
